2020 Kettle Clambake Cancelled

Each year around this time we are busy anticipating our Annual Kettle Clambake Fundraiser. We're usually ordering lobsters and lemons to squeeze into our homemade lemonade, coordinating boats to shuttle back and forth from Congdon's Dock to Taylor's Island, finding good local music to enjoy together, and checking the forecast repeatedly to see if we'll have yet another beautiful afternoon to enjoy on the Island.

This summer is far different, and we won't be hosting our Kettle Clambake this August. The final restoration projects on the main cabin interior and the replacement shed are underway and are very gratifying. We ask that if you're able to, please continue your financial support of Taylor's Island for these projects as well as the on-going maintenance of the Island and its historic Smith-Taylor Cabin.

We'll greatly miss welcoming you to the Island for our event and yet we're encouraged by all that will continue on Taylor's Island though the summer and the months ahead.
